Insitu Tests New 'Integrator' UAS
Insitu, Bingen, Wash., is conducting development flight tests of a new unmanned aircraft system (UAS) known as Integrator.
Integrator is designed to integrate payloads for a variety of missions. In its baseline configuration, the aircraft carries electro-optical and infrared cameras, with optional IR marker and laser rangefinder. It has a 16-foot wingspan, 24-hour endurance, line of sight communications range of 55 nautical miles and beyond line of sight mission radius of up to 550 nm. The vehicle is launched via pneumatic catapult and recovered by wingtip snag.
