IFLC Selects Rockwell Collins IFE System

International Lease Finance Corp. (ILFC) expanded its Boeing 737NG passenger entertainment system offerings to include the option of Rockwell Collins' Digital Programmable Audio Video Entertainment System (dPAVES). Rockwell Collins said the dPAVES system for ILFC will feature the Broadcast Digital Server, the Audio Reproducer Unit and the Prerecorded Announcement Machine. In addition, the system is capable of hosting the Airshow 4200 moving map. Rockwell Collins will provide two methods for loading content: the Flyable Data Loader for background loading via Blu-ray disc on the aircraft and Manual Load capability utilizing Ethernet during aircraft downtime.
