FlightPath3D, an in-flight moving mapping service, was recently deployed on flights for launch customer Norwegian Airlines. The solution presents passengers with a detailed rendering of their aircraft set against a three-dimensional earth background on a seat-back screen.

"With the launch of our flagship product, FlightPath3D, we needed a strategic partner to help us accelerate our market reach," said Boris Veksler, president of Betria Interactive.

Betria has presented FlightPath3D as being "platform-agnostic," which allows airlines to deploy it on a number of different electronic devices. Beyond showing the flight path, the application also allows passengers to navigate their arriving terminal map, city streets and other points of interest about their destination city.
