IFE on Turboprops

India regional airline Kingfisher Airlines says it is the first regional carrier in the world to be equipped with in-flight entertainment(IFE)systems. The airline took delivery of its sixth ATR 72-500 this month from Toulouse, France-based regional aircraft manufacturer ATR. The companies said the latest aircraft is the world's first turboprop aircraft facilitating IFE. The previous five will also be equipped with the system. Another first for this aircraft is being the first turboprop to be equipped with Light Emitting Diode in the whole cabin, Kingfisher said in a statement.
