Honeywell, Astronautics In Singapore
Honeywell and Singapore Technologies Aerospace (ST Aerospace) signed a five-year maintenance service agreement for a selected range of Honeywell cockpit avionics and mechanical systems on Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 narrow-body airliners.
In another agreement, ST Aerospace said its wholly owned, subsidiary, ST Aerospace Systems Pte Ltd. (STA), has been approved by Astronautics Corporation of America to be an authorized repair station for all Astronautics’ electronic flight bags.
The Honeywell agreement was described as the second and most significant collaboration between the two companies. Last year, STA Systems was approved as an authorized repair station for Honeywell’s Quantum line of avionics and the RDR-4B weather radar.
“Together with the earlier appointment of STA Systems as Honeywell’s service center, this maintenance service agreement [for the 737 and A320] will enhance our ability to bring OEM value to our customers,” said Tay Kok Khiang, ST Aerospace president.
