Honeywell Aerospace Sales Grow

Honeywell today said its aerospace sales increased 9 percent in the third quarter to $2.85 billion, helped by double-digit growth in commercial sales. Commercial sales increased 11 percent for the quarter; defense and space sales were up 6 percent. Commercial sales reflected growth of 17 percent in original equipment and 7 percent in aftermarket sales and services. Among quarterly highlights, Honeywell's Apex integrated avionics system was selected by Pilatus for the PC-12 single-engine turboprop. The company’s TFE731-50 turbofan engine was selected to power Raytheon Aircraft’s new Hawker 900XP mid-size business jet. More
