Hainan Selects Rockwell Collins Avionics
Rockwell Collins said it has been selected by China’s Hainan Airlines to provide communications, navigation and surveillance avionics for 13 new Airbus A320s. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2010.
The airline specified Rockwell Collins MultiScan Hazard Detection System weather radar, GLU-920 Multi-Mode Receiver (MMR), ADF-900 Automatic Direction Finder, DME-900 Distance Measuring Equipment, HFS-900D High Frequency Data Radio, CPL-920D Coupling Unit, VHF-920 Very High Frequency Transceiver, and VOR-900 VHF Omnidirectional Range receiver.
