GPS Anti-Jamming System Plugged

Israel's Elisra Group introduced its iSNS/V1 product, described as an advanced, immune satellite navigation system, April 17 at Latin America Aero & Defense 2007 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Elisra said the electronic countermeasures system provides full jamming immunity to ensure uninterrupted GPS operation. "During successful flight trials, iSNS/V1 performed flawlessly, exhibiting smooth and stable functioning while meeting the test's complex jamming challenges. The system easily annulled powerful jammers with its advanced spatial null steering capabilities," the company said.

The system is targeted for end-users, integrators, and OEMs for installation on military and civilian airborne platforms, remotely operated vehicles, armored fighting vehicles, naval vessels and artillery and other systems.
