EMS Sky Connect Phone Gets STC
EMS Sky Connect, a division of EMS Technologies, said Monday its Forté in-flight phone received a FAA supplemental type certificate (STC) for installation Gulfstream G-IVs. The phone system uses the Iridium network to provide communications, including access to e-mail, in the cockpit and cabin from ramp parking to cruising altitudes, the company said.
