CMC to Equip EFB on Austrian’s C-130s

CMC Electronics has been selected by the Austrian Air Force to equip the flight decks of three C-130 aircraft with its PilotView Electronic Flight Bag (EFB). Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. CMC said its PilotView EFB improves productivity by enabling efficient access to up-to-date aircraft documentation and flight planning information. En-route and approach charts, moving map display and real-time graphical weather information are all readily supported. The EFB also has a 8.4-inch AMLCD display, a "film-on-glass" touch-sensitive screen and a one-touch video key.
