CAE Inks Simulator Contracts

CAE signed $63.5 million in contracts to provide five full-flight simulators (FFS) to three airlines, the Canadian company said. Shanghai Eastern Flight Training Co., the training subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines, ordered an Airbus A320 full-flight simulator. Two other airlines were not identified; one ordered a Boeing 737-800 FFS and an Airbus A330/340 FFS; the other airline ordered two Boeing 777 FFSs. All training devices will be delivered during 2008. The contracts brings the total FFS sales that CAE has announced in fiscal 2007 to 29. More
