C-130 Upgrade

Rockwell Collins, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, will upgrade the avionics on six Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) C-130 aircraft. Financial terms were not disclosed. The Rockwell Collins system includes an Ethernet-based integrated processing center with flight management capabilities, traffic alert and collision avoidance system, weather radar and autopilot. This upgrade allows the RTAF C-130 unrestricted access to civil airspace by providing required navigation performance compliance and automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast capability. More
