Boeing completed 2008 with 375 aircraft delivered, down 15 percent from the 441 delivered in 2007.

Boeing reported 662 net orders, down 53 percent from 1,413 the previous year. The airframer said its backlog exceeds 3,700 aircraft.
The Next Generation 737 remained Boeing’s best seller, with 484 ordered. Demand for the 787 Dreamliner remained strong with 93 ordered, primarily by Middle East customers.
