[Avionics Today 11-30-2015] Boeing, General Electric Corporation (GE), and information management company Flatiron Solutions have signed a new collaboration agreement to formalize the combined team’s entry of the Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet for meeting the Danish Fighter Replacement Program’s (DFRP) requirements. The Boeing-built aircraft will be fitted with GE Aviation F414-GE-400 engines. As part of the agreement, Flatirons would provide software for management of Danish Super Hornet maintenance publications, including aircraft maintenance and engine maintenance manuals.

The DFRP is evaluating entries on behalf of the Danish government to support the replacement of the Royal Danish Air Force’s (RDAF) aging F-16 fleet, which is being phased out of service.
