Goodrich Corp., Charlotte, N.C., won a contract worth up to $10 billion over 20 years to provide
Airbus with nacelle and thrust reverser systems for its A350 XWB wide-body aircraft. The contract, which Goodrich said is expected to generate about $10 billion in original equipment and aftermarket revenues over 20 years, includes the integration of the Goodrich technology with each engine manufacturer's offering. Goodrich ultimately will provide
Airbus with complete propulsion systems ready to be installed on the A350 XWB final assembly line, the company said. The A350XWB is set to roll out in 2012.
