A-10As to Get Display Upgrade

Raytheon Technical Services Co. has obtained a $16-million contract to provide 85 multifunction color displays (MFCDs) for U.S. Air Force Reserve and National Guard A-10A aircraft. The MFCD, which replaces the aircraft’s existing television monitor, will allow improved control of the A-10A’s targeting pod. It will provide pilots with real-time data from the situational awareness/enhanced position reporting location system (EPRLS) data link, displayed on a digital moving map. More
