Online Avionics Training

Flight training provider FlightSafety International inked a deal to become the online training provider for Garmin International’s panel mount avionics products. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed. The online training launch product will be for the Garmin G1000, an integrated avionics system designed and certified in a broad range of aircraft models. The system includes an all-glass flight deck with large-format, high-resolution displays. FlightSafety’s first G1000 online training course will feature the Cessna Citation Mustang aircraft. It is scheduled to be available in 2007. FlightSafety said future plans include online generic training for single-engine piston aircraft. More
