CAE sold flight simulators to India’s Jet Airways and Air Canada, with the two contracts valued at $44.6 million. Jet Airways acquired three full-flight simulators –– a
Boeing 777ER and an A330/340 while Air Canada is acquiring a
Boeing 777-300ER. The Air Canada contract includes an option to provide the airline with a second 777 full-flight simulator. CAE will provide Jet Airways with a CAE Simfinity Integrated Procedures Trainer for the 777 as well as a CAE Simfinity Maintenance Flight Training Device for the A330/340. The devices will be delivered in the fall of 2007. Air Canada will receive two CAE Simfinity B777-300ER Integrated Procedures Trainers and four CAE Simfinity B777-300ER Virtual Simulators. The Boeing 777-300ER full-flight simulator sold to Air Canada will be delivered in late 2007.
The contracts bring the total full-flight simulator sales that CAE announced in fiscal 2007 to 20.
