Crane Wins A320 Landing Gear Deal

Crane Aerospace & Electronics will provide its landing gear control and
interface unit (LGCIU) for Airbus’s A320 family of aircraft. Crane, Lynnwood, Wash., said the LGCIU system communicates position status and controls the movement of the aircraft landing gear and gear doors. The system is making up for two electronic boxes and associated sensors and targets. Crane said it is also developing the brake control system for Airbus’s A400M airlifter and provides about 300 proximity sensor channels and associated sensor interface electronics for the A380. More
