EMTEQ, New Berlin, Wis., won a supplemental type certificate from FAA for the installation of the Honeywell Runway Awareness Advisory System (RAAS) software to the Honeywell MK V Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System computer on the B737-300 through -900 series aircraft. Honeywell’s RAAS provides advisories to the flight crew with respect to the runway on approach to landing. EMTEQ’s STC data package includes installation instructions, ground test procedure, EMI test procedure and instructions for continued airworthiness documents.
