The FORMS program is a database of flight data designed to provide feedback to operators seeking to improve their training and maintenance procedures. During all phases of flight, FORMS collects data and identifies when certain criteria have been exceeded, Gulfstream said. The system then analyzes the conditions and presents a report to the operator summarizing the data.
“No one else in the industry is performing this level of data analysis, which allows for the trending of aircraft systems and enables predictive capabilities,” said Robby O’Dell, program manager, G650 technical development at Gulfstream.
In addition to the events-based flight reports, operators also receive quarterly reports from the system.
The company currently has 200 aircraft enrolled in the program, which is also available to G150, G450, G550, GIV and GV operators.
