Under the agreement, Rockwell Collins will train U.S. Department of Defense personnel to perform maintenance, repair and overhaul on F-22 displays. The F-22 integrated avionics and displays feature a complete view of the battlefield, allowing pilots to receive information from intelligence databases on other military aircraft and manage air combat.

The sustainment contract covers 184 total F-22 aircraft. Training for cockpit display maintenance will be split between the Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah and the Rockwell Collins repair facility in Atlanta.
