Honeywell: Karlsson, Vice President
Torbjorn Karlsson has been named Honeywell's vice president-commercial aerospace for the Asia Pacific region. He is based in Singapore. Karlsson previously was head of business development for Cathay Pacific Aircraft Trading Ltd., a Hong Kong-based subsidiary of Cathay Pacific Airlines. He also has been director of air transport systems for Rockwell Collins, in Singapore, and sales director for Saab Aircraft International, in Hong Kong. Visit www.honeywell.com.
I's American Subsidiary: Boness, President
Mordechai Boness, corporate vice president and general manager of Israel Aircraft Industries' (IAI's) Commercial Aircraft Group, has been appointed president of Aircraft Industries International, IAI's American subsidiary, headquartered in New York. He replaces David Onn, who will retire and return to Israel. Boness joined IAI in 1966 and, in 1994, was general manager of the company's Commercial Aircraft Group. ARINC Inc. recently promoted Richard Hoad to the position of senior director, sales and marketing in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He will be based in Crawley, UK. Keystone Helicopter Corp.: New Officials
West Chester, Pa.-based Keystone Helicopter Corp. has announced three new officials–Larry Adams, Stephen Gambone and Richard Moore–and one promotion, Rick Hinkle. Adams came from Rocky Mountain Holdings as director of flight operations to become Keystone's vice president and general manager of the Flight Services Division. He replaces Hickle, who has moved to the newly created post of vice president-program development. Gambone, formerly controller and chief accounting officer for Teleflex Corp., has been named Keystone's senior vice president and chief financial officer. Carson City, Nev.-based US Global Aerospace Inc., has appointed William Ting chief liaison to the China region. The company produces the Nanofilter for environmental control, ventilation and air conditioning systems. It is designed to capture viruses as small as those responsible for the severe acute respiratory system (SARS) outbreak and pathogens such as anthrax.
