Mercury Computer to Supply EW Receivers for NRL

Mercury Systems has been awarded a 3-year, $16.7 million indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery (IDIQ) contract by the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Tactical Electronic Warfare Division (TEWD) to supply advanced mixed signal digital receivers for prototype electronic warfare applications on airborne and surface shipboard platforms.

“The Navy's requirement to deny or degrade hostile uses of the electromagnetic spectrum has placed new demands on existing electronic warfare systems,” said Ian Dunn, vice president and general manager of Mercury’s RF and Microwave Subsystems Group. “This win reaffirms Mercury’s leading-edge capabilities in digital signal processing and data movement. Our array of mixed-signal offerings delivers ultra-fast tuning, high dynamic range, and extreme data processing — all critical elements of electronic warfare support measures.”
