Vaughn, Chairman

Novatel Inc., based in Calgary, Canada, has announced the appointment of David Vaughn as chairman of the board of directors. Vaughn served as Novatel's president and chief executive officer from February 2001 to February 2002. Roser, Vice President

Steven Roser has joined Sanmina-SCI as vice president, business development, for the company's Defense and Aerospace Systems Division in Huntsville, Ala. Roser previously served as Pratt & Whitney's St. Louis regional manager, where he was responsible for business development and customer support for Boeing's Integrated Defense Systems unit and the U.S. Air Force's Air Mobility Command headquarters. New Officials

Helicopter services provider, Keystone Helicopter Corp., West Chester, Pa., has promoted David Ford to the positions of president and chief operating officer. Since joining the company in 1996, Ford has filled the roles of vice president and general manager of the Helicopter Services Division and senior vice president-technical services. Carter, President

Michael Carter has been named president and general manager of StacoSwitch, Costa Mesa, Calif., a manufacturer of aviation switches, controllers and keyboards. Roberts, Group President

Montreal, Canada-based simulation specialist, CAE, has promoted Jeff Roberts from executive vice president of aviation training to group president of its civil simulation and training business unit. Taylor, Vice President-Sales

Savannah Air Center has named Stephen Taylor as vice president of sales, responsible for all sales activities, including maintenance, completions and exterior paint. Before joining Savannah Air Center, Taylor served as vice president of sales and marketing for Pentastar Aviation (formerly Chrysler Pentastar and DaimlerChrysler Aviation) and worked in marketing, sales support and customer relations for Gulfstream.
