Bob Kramer
Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Savi Technology, a Lockheed Martin subsidiary, has named Bob Kramer as senior vice president of marketing and strategic development. An 18-year employee of Lockheed, he is responsible for overseeing business relations between the two companies, and marketing and communications functions. Kramer was previously director of military satcom programs, where he worked on several satellite ground system projects. C.D. Moore
Col. C.D. Moore (Brig. Gen. select), director of the F-22 System Program Office at Wright-Patterson AFB, has received his first star. Moore manages development, acquisition, testing and support for the F-22A Raptor. Charles Boyd
DRS Technologies has elected former U.S. Air Force General Charles Boyd as a member of the company's board of directors. Boyd, who served 35 years in the Air Force before retiring in 1995, is currently president and chief executive officer of Business Executives for National Security. Stephen Newell
EMS Satcom of Ottawa, Canada, has appointed Stephen Newell as vice president of military and government sales. He is responsible for satcom system accounts for those two markets. Newell comes from Annapolis, Md.-based AIRIA Inc., where he was manager of avionics systems. At that company, he was responsible for the development of an airborne television system that uses the Inmarsat satellite network. New Appointments
Israel Aircraft Industries has named David Arzi as corporate vice president of commercial aerospace relations. He is responsible for business development with international airlines, with emphasis on IAI's maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services and aircraft conversions. Arzi was previously corporate vice president and general manager of the company's Bedek Aviation Group.

IAI also has promoted employees to lead three newly created divisions within its Commercial Aircraft Group. Shlomo Karako is the new general manager of the business aircraft division, Nava Sela holds the same position in the aerospace assemblies division, and Dov Shavit will lead the manufacturing technologies division. Brian Reid
Avionics and modifications provider, Landmark Aviation, has hired Brian Reid as vice president of aircraft certification for Associated Air Center. Based at Love Field in Dallas, Reid will lead the Air Center's certification department and Designated Alteration Station (DAS) efforts.
