BAE Systems: Menard, Director-Business Dev.

John Menard has joined BAE Systems Canada as its director of business development, Corporate Aircraft Products. Menard has 25 years of experience in avionics and aircraft interior completion. AIM: Four New Appointments

AIM GmbH has appointed Bill Fleissner to lead the distribution, sales, support and manufacturing of AIM’s Avionics Databus Products for the United States and Canada. Ken Bisson was chosen to manage sales and applications on the East Coast and in Canada. Lorraine Masi was named West Coast regional sales engineer. DY 4 Systems Inc.: Lavoie, VP-Research & Dev.

NICE Systems: Hanover, Senior VP & CFO

Lauri A. Hanover has been appointed NICE Systems’ new senior vice president and chief financial officer (CFO), replacing Yuval Yanai. Hanover, former executive vice president and CFO of Sapiens International Corp. NV, took over in December and reports directly to NICE’s chairman and chief executive officer, Benny Levin. Gallium: McInnes, VP-Operations

Jim McInnes has been named vice president of operations at Gallium, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, which produces user interface software for air traffic management and defense. He has 20 years experience as an executive and independent consultant in the high technology arena. See www.gallium.com.

Orthogon: Wittig, Marketing Manager

L-3 Communications: Coffey, Division President

L-3 Communications of Sarasota, Fla., has named Bruce Coffey president of its Aviation Recorder Division, also based in Sarasota. He succeeds Charles Grouse, who retired after 37 years with the company. Coffey has been with L-3 for 16 years and was previously Aviation Recorders’ vice president of finance and administration. FlightSafety Boeing: Nelp, VP-Sales & Business Dev.

FlightSafety Boeing Training International LLC, Seattle, Wash., has appointed Todd Nelp vice president of sales and business development. He has been with The Boeing Co. for 21 years and was previously director-customer support for worldwide sales and business development of Boeing Spare Parts and Logistic Services. Elliott Aviation: Technical Sales Managers

Elliott Aviation has appointed two technical sales managers. Dan Clark will be manager at Elliott’s Minneapolis, Minn., facility, and Jerry Keizer will be based at the Omaha, Neb., location. Clark was the marketing and airworthiness manager for a Minneapolis aircraft interior firm. Keizer was director of sales and product support at West Star Aviation, Grand Junction, Colo. At Calgary, Alberta-based NovAtel Inc., Douglas R. Reid has left the position of president and chief executive officer and Randy R. RIFOCS Corp.: Clark, VP & General Mgr.
