Dan McFeeley

Korry Electronics, Seattle, named Dan McFeeley president.

A 22-year employee of Korry, McFeeley has held several company positions, most recently vice president and chief operating officer, overseeing all operations for Korry’s five business units. Prior assignments include general manager positions with Korry’s interface products and control products strategic business units, design engineering manager and manufacturing engineering manager.

Charles Bergman

The NGATS Institute, Alexandria, Va., named Charles Bergman executive director. Bergman, a former Air Force pilot, has more than 16 years of experience in aviation operations, safety and training, and association management.

In his new role, Bergman is responsible for operations of the NGATS Institute, which was created under an agreement between FAA and the National Center for Advanced Technologies in 2005. The institute provides a framework for stakeholder input into the Next Generation Air Transportation System and the Joint Planning and Development Office.

Most recently, Bergman was special assistant for Industry Affairs to the JPDO. He retired from the Air Force in 2000 and joined the Air Line Pilots Association as a manager and staff engineer responsible for airports, air traffic and NextGen safety and operations. He moved to the JPDO last year.

Francisco Hernandez

DAC International, a Washington, D.C.-based subsidiary of Fairchild Corp., named Francisco Hernandez director of sales for the Universal Avionics product line.

Hernandez has been responsible for all sales in Latin America for the last 10 years, including Universal products. In his expanded role, Hernandez will manage and coordinate all of DAC’s regional sales managers located in Asia, Latin America, Europe and the United States.

DAC is an alliance partner with Universal, responsible for the worldwide marketing and sales of the Universal’s product line to airlines and government users.

Kieran Kennedy

International Communications Group (ICG), Newport News, Va., named Kieran Kennedy OEM sales manager.

Kennedy will be responsible for all of ICG’s OEM contractual accounts to include existing clientele as well as new business development. In addition to monitoring existing account activity and providing pricing updates for new products, Kennedy will provide support and advise customers on product integrations.

Kennedy began his career at ICG in 1999 working in customer support and applications engineering. He has been customer support manager for the past three years.

Prior to joining ICG, Kennedy was involved in the marine electronics industry. He has seven years of experience in maritime communications as a radio and communications officer, as well as two years of experience in technical sales.

Allan Day, Jason Chen

Crane Aerospace & Electronics named Allan Day, right, as general manager and director of its Electronics Manufacturing Solutions (EMS) business based in Albuquerque, N.M.

Day is responsible for manufacturing operations, sales, quality, operational excellence and strategic deployment. Crane EMS provides electronic manufacturing services of electronic cards, boxes, subsystems and systems for the aerospace and defense markets.

Prior to joining Crane, Day was director of global strategies and program management for Wyndham Worldwide. Before that, he was with United Technologies in various roles, including marketing, finance, automotive, manufacturing and e-business.

Crane also named Jason Chen site leader of its Kaohsiung, Taiwan, site. Chen will be responsible for manufacturing operations, site leadership, quality and strategic deployment. The Kaohsiung site manufactures microelectronics and power conversion products for aerospace, defense and medical applications. Prior to joining Crane, Chen was the chief officer of production for Chen Hsong Holdings in Shenzhen, China.

Dennis Grossi

Flightscape, of Ottawa, Canada, named Dennis Grossi senior investigator/analyst in the company’s Washington, D.C., office. Grossi will support use of the company’s Insight software tools for flight-data analysis by the FAA Office of Accident Investigation as well as supporting customers of the Flightscape flight recorder lab.

Grossi was formerly with the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board and held the title of National Resource Specialist for Flight Recorders. He has represented the United States on the International Civil Aviation Organization Flight Recorder Panel.

David McMillan

Eurocontrol named David McMillan director general, effective Jan. 1, 2008. McMillan is currently director general of Civil Aviation in the United Kingdom.

During his career, he has held a range of posts in the U.K. Department of Transport, including director of strategy and delivery and director of rail restructuring.

McMillan will succeed Víctor M. Aguado, who has been director general of Eurocontrol since 2001 and whose term ends next January.

Richard G. Matthews

Northrop Grumman named Richard G. Matthews vice president of aviation products and site manager for its St. Augustine, Fla., Manufacturing Center, home of the U.S. Navy’s airborne early warning and battle management command and control aircraft, the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye.

Matthews joins Northrop Grumman after a 25-year career with the Air Force, retiring as colonel. Most recently he was vice director of the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center, Tinker Air Force Base, Okla.
