Federal Aviation Administration: Peacock, ATS Director

The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has Bill G. Peacock succeeding Ronald E. Morgan as director of the Air Traffic Service (ATS). Morgan retired after 32 years with the FAA. As ATS director, Peacock will be in charge of air traffic flow in the United States. He will manage 20,000 air traffic controllers, 352 airport towers, 185 terminal radar control facilities, 21 en route centers, and 75 flight service facilities. The Embry Riddle Aeronautical University graduate joined the FAA in 1973 as a controller at the Lubbock, Texas, control tower. Visit www.faa.gov for more.

BAE Systems: Lindsey, Vice President
BAE Systems has named Paul Lindsey vice president of process improvement for its newly formed Information & Electronics Systems Integration (IESI) sector. His assignment is to improve the engineering process at BAE Systems North America, as well as for the new sector. The IESI sector was formed when BAE Systems North America acquired Lockheed Martin’s Aerospace Electronics Systems unit. Visit www.baesystems.com.

Druck Ltd.: Dean, Product Manager
Druck Ltd., Groby, England, recently named David Dean product manager for the company’s line of aviation ground support equipment, which includes air data test systems. Dean formerly was with BAE Systems. He has 30 years of experience in avionics and aircraft systems, including with the Tornado, Harrier, Hawk, BAe 146 and Airbus 320 programs. Visit www.druck.com.

FlightSafety International: New Appointments
FlightSafety International recently named Jim Dolle assistant manager of the Gulfstream Learning Center at Savannah, Ga., and Chris Adams the director of product marketing. A former Navy aviator, Dolle comes to FlightSafety from the North Carolina Department of Labor, Division of Occupational Safety and Health. Adams, a former Army helicopter pilot, was promoted from product marketing manager at FlightSafety’s Philadelphia/Wilmington Center. Visit www.flightsafety.com.

Northrop Grumman: Newquist, VP-Business Mgmt.
The Integrated Systems Sector (ISS) of Northrop Grumman Corp. recently promoted Lance G. Newquist to vice president-business management. He formerly was vice president-business management and chief financial officer for ISS’s air combat systems business. Russell Adams Ltd.: Evans, Business Dev. Director
Aviation software developer Russell Adams Ltd., Berkswell, England, has named Duncan Evans it new business development director. With 11 years experience in the aviation industry, Evans formerly was director of maintenance cost for BAe, in Toulouse, France, and director of sales and commerce for Avrotech.
