Seznec, Senior VP

Reynald Seznec has been named senior vice president of the Thales Air Traffic Management (ATM) business group. He joined the company’s Sonar and Anti-Submarine Division in 1990 and rose to the position of general manager from 1996 to 1999. New Officials

CAE SimuFlite, Toronto, has named Tom Stelter the vice president and general manager of its Dallas-Fort Worth facility. He formerly was vice president-specialized operations. Stelter has been with CAE SimuFlite since 1991. The company also appointed three new regional sales managers: Ned Carlson, Bob Jordan and Pedro Pirela. Visit www.cae.com.

DeClue, Account Executive

Jeppesen has named George DeClue the Northeast U.S. account executive, responsible for sales in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, Pennsylvania and eastern Canada. Visit www.jeppesen.com.

Buch, Vice President of Engineering

New Officials

CSSI Inc., an engineering and technical services company, has named four new officials: Nils van den Beemt, director of program engineering and management services; John Markey, director of information management; David Barstow, director of system engineering; and Robert Miller, director of airspace analysis and modeling. Coby, Chairman

The SITA group has named Paul Coby, chief information officer with British Airways, as chairman, replacing Stephan Regulinski, who served for two years. Steffen, T&M Chief

Roland Steffen, a 25-year veteran with Rohde & Schwarz GmbH, Munich, has been named head of the company’s Test and Measurement (T&M) Division. He replaces Michael Vohrer, who has joined Rohde & Schwarz’s executive board. Prior to his new appointment, Steffen was director of the mobile radio T&M products subdivision for seven years. Fort Worth, Texas-based Aerospace Optics Inc. recently announced two appointments to its sales staff. Todd West has been promoted to senior sales representative in charge of domestic direct sales and support, and Terry McGraw is now with the company’s inside technical sales support. Rowe, Sales Administrator

Cea Rowe has been appointed to sales administration at FreeFlight Systems, Waco, Texas, where she also is the instructor of flight training courses. She joined the company in March 2003. Rowe began flying as a teenager and subsequently completed her certified flight instructor, instrument instructor, and multi-engine instructor ratings. Mike Baker has become Pentastar’s vice president of maintenance and avionics, leaving DaimlerChrysler Aviation, where he held various positions, including director of maintenance, over a 21-year period. Ratliff, Award Winner

Jack Ratliff, founder and president of Astro-Aire Enterprises, an FAA-approved repair station at Oakland (Calif.) International Airport, has been awarded the Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award by the Federal Aviation Administration’s Flight Standards Office. Duncan Aviation, Lincoln, Neb., has named Dan Wilder its Chicago satellite manager. He has been with the company for three years. Henry Patton II Deceased

Henry Patton II, a pioneer in signal conditioning technology, died July 23. He was founder, president and chief executive officer of Acromag Inc. Patton began his engineering career at Collins Radio (now Rockwell Collins) and subsequently founded Acromag in 1957 in Detroit, where he was instrumental in launching the use of magnetic amplifiers to process measurement applications.
