Eggleton

Luxell Technologies Inc., Toronto, Ontario, has appointed Art Eggleton to its board of directors. Eggleton has had a 30-year career in Canadian government, serving as Toronto's mayor for 11 years, as well as the national government's minister of Defence, minister of International Trade and president of Canada's Treasury Board. Stanislav

Martin Stanislav has been named the controller and chief accounting officer of Lockheed Martin. Stanislav, who has been with the company since 1998, was most recently the vice president and controller of Lockheed's Aeronautics business group in Fort Worth, Texas. Visit www.lockheedmartin.com.

Burke

Northrop Grumman Corp. has named Robert Burke to the new position of vice president, advanced mission programs, where he will be responsible for a set of restricted programs. Chinello

Andreas Meisel will serve as the senior vice president of Lufthansa Technik's Aircraft Overhaul and Jet Services department. Larkins

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University student Jamail Larkins has signed with the FAA to be its "ambassador for aviation and space education." Twenty-one year old Larkins is the nation's youngest aerobatic pilot and is the national spokesman for the Experimental Aircraft Association's Vision of Eagles program and Careers in Aviation Inc. Juengel

Banyan Air Services, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has promoted Lynn Juengel to the position of technical services manager. Juengel started at Banyan in 1995 as the maintenance department's administrator and has risen in the company's ranks, serving as the operations manager for the maintenance department, manager of the propeller repair station, and head of the maintenance division. Carlson

Mark Carlson, an aeronautic and mechanical engineering fellow with BAE Systems, was named Engineer of the Year by the New England section of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).
