Sanders: Gobel, JSF Director

Sanders appointed Dan J. Gobel as Sanders’ director for Lockheed Martin’s Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Electronic Warfare (EW) program. He will lead a technology team composed of Sanders, Litton and BAe Systems to work with the Lockheed Martin J-35 JSF team. Gobel joined Sanders in 1992. For more on Sanders, visit www.sanders.com.

AvtechCorp.: Froebe, Anderson promoted
Avtech Corp. has appointed Chris Anderson as general manager and Steve Froebe as operations engineering manager. Anderson started at Avtech in 1986 as design engineer. Froebe joined Avtech in February 1995 as a test engineer, responsible for overseeing the company’s test engineering group. Avtech Corp. is part of the DeCrane Aircraft Holdings Co. family. InterGame: Erickson, President
Arvin Erickson is now president of InterGame, a developer of interactive entertainment system applications used for in-flight entertainment. Erickson, who has been at the company for more than three years, assumes the new title in addition to his positions as chief operating officer and chief financial officer. BBA Aviation: Van Allen, President/CEO
BBA Aviation has promoted Bruce S. Van Allen to president and CEO of BBA Aviation North America. He will be directly responsible for all of BBA’s North American aviation operations.

Other appointments under the BBA umbrella include Elizabeth "Beth" Haskins as president and chief executive officer of Signature Flight Support; Gary Boekenkamp as vice president of marketing for BBA Aviation North America; T. Peter Whitehead as chief executive BBA Aviation Europe; Mick Daw as managing director and chief executive of Oxford Aviation; and Roberto Quarta as chief executive of BBA Group Plc., the parent company of BBA Aviation. Elliott Aviation: Turner, Marketing Director
Elliott Aviation has appointed Michael Turner as director of marketing at the company’s Moline, Ill., facility. He will oversee all internal and external marketing communications. Turner was previously aircraft sales assistant at the company’s Omaha, Neb., location and prior to that was aircraft sales manager at Livingston Aviation. Jeannine M. Davis has been elected to the CTS Corp. board of directors. Davis, a 20-year employee of CTS, was elected to the post of executive vice president-administration in June 1999, in addition to holding positions as general council and secretary of the company at the time.
