Lockheed Martin Awarded Navy Contract

Lockheed Martin Systems Integration, based in Owego, N.Y., was awarded a $82 million contract modification for the production and delivery of common cockpits for the MH-60S Lot 12 Knighthawk helicopter and MH-60R Lot 8 Seahawk helicopter. In addition, this modification provides for long lead items to support MH-60S Lot 13 and MH-60R Lot 9 common cockpit kits. Work will be performed in Owego, N.Y., Salt Lake City, Farmingdale, N.Y., Grand Rapids, Mich., Woodland Hills, Calif., Lewisville, Texas, Windsor Locks, Conn., Middletown, Conn., and Butler, N.J. Work is expected to be completed in July 2012.

McDonnell Douglas Wins Navy Work

Boeing subsidiary McDonnell Douglas was awarded a $12.4 million for 12 months of 2010 avionics repair facility support, which provides for repair of various F/A-18 components. This announcement involves a foreign military sale, less than 1 percent, for Spain, Kuwait and Malaysia, according to the Navy. Work will be performed in Lemoore, Calif., Cecil Field, Fla., and at the Hornet Control Center, Philadelphia. Work will be completed by Dec. 31, 2010.
