Upcoming Runway Safety Summit

AAAE, in cooperation with MITRE, Booz Allen Hamilton, Robert E. David and Associates and Farragut International will present the AAAE Runway Safety Summit Nov. 12-14 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The conference hosted by Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International will examine FAA policies, procedures and technology advancements intended to improve aviation safety. Highlights of the program will include policy updates from DOT's Office of the Inspector General and FAA's Office of Runway Safety and Office of Airports. Other agenda topics include a review of the latest developments in general aviation runway safety and the results from the Safety Management Systems (SMS) pilot program.
