Tourist Helicopter Crashes in Nevada

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating the crash Wednesday of a sight-seeing helicopter in Las Vegas, killing the pilot and four passengers.

The NTSB was sending a 12-person team to investigate the crash of a Eurocopter AS350, operated by Sundance Helicopters, that was taking passengers on a tour over the Hoover Dam near Las Vegas. The crash occurred 4.5 miles west of Southern Nevada Water Authority in the Lake Mead Recreational Park, east of Las Vegas.
