Implant Sciences has won multiple orders totaling approximately $2.7 million for its Quantum Sniffer QS-H150 portable explosives detection systems to be delivered to customers of Beijing Ritchie's Time Co.,, one of the company's distributors in China. The QS-H150's are expected to be deployed primarily for use in transportation and facility security applications in multiple locations throughout China. Richard Meyerhoff, Implant Sciences' vice president of worldwide sales and service, is pleased with the firm’s continuing expansion in the explosives trace detection (ETD) market in China. “Our QS-H150 product line was developed to provide customers portable technology for the detection of a wide range of explosives materials within challenging operating environments. We believe these orders continue to demonstrate the growing demand for our ETD equipment and underscore our ongoing progress toward attaining a leadership position within the global market."
