Sensis Marks Milestone for 3DELRR

Sensis has successfully demonstrated critical technologies for the USAF Three Dimensional Expeditionary Long Range Radar (3DELRR).

Sensis demonstrated the capabilities of its full-scale 3DELRR prototype in a relevant expeditionary environment to military and civilian participants from the USAF, USMC and Pentagon officials.
3DELRR will replace the U.S. Air Force’s AN/TPS-75 radar, the principal USAF long-range, ground-based sensor for detecting, identifying, tracking and reporting aircraft and missiles with a modern, highly expeditionary air surveillance and theater ballistic missile detection radar.
The Sensis team, which includes Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) and Moog, was selected for the Technology Development (TD) Phase in May 2009.
