Safety is No Secret
In its quest to continually advance aviation safety, Flight Safety Foundation is among the sponsors of an International Winter Operations Conference organized by the Air Canada Pilots Association and Canadian Society of Air Safety Investigators.
A snowstorm event sets the stage for the conference theme of "Safety is No Secret."
Participants such as airlines, manufacturers, airport and governmental agencies will be in attendance to discuss different aspects of winter operations; airframe and engine icing, both on the ground and in flight, runway contamination, and take off and landing performance just to name a few. This conference may meet your safety management's system requirements for training and ongoing education and will certainly benefit any pilot or operator dealing with the harsh reality of winter flying conditions.
For more information, please visit A Partnership in Safety: International Winter Operations Conference or contact Capt. Barry F. Wiszniowski, by e-mail at bwisziowski@acpa.ca, or by phone at +1 905.678.9008 or 800.634.0944, ext. 225.
