SAE Symposium on ADS-B

Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) will trigger changes in global air traffic management on a scale that may surpass even that which was seen during the introduction of radar, more than 50 years ago. This technology offers improved situational awareness for both pilots and air traffic controllers and will improve both capacity and safety of our Air Traffic System. A new symposium from SAE International will provide up-to-date developments and engineering information related to ASD-B and its companion technologies. The SAE 2009 Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast Symposium will be held Sept. 29-30 at the National Transportation Safety Board Training Center in Ashburn, VA. For more information on the symposium, visit http://www.sae.org/events/training/symposia/adsb/. SAE International is a global association of more than 121,000 engineers and related technical experts in the automotive, aerospace and commercial-vehicle industries. SAE International's core competencies are life-long learning and standards development.
