Pilot Misjudged Runway Length

The captain of the Boeing 747 carrying U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair told National Transportation Safety Board officials he misjudged where the runway ended. The agency’s preliminary report said the captain, landing at Miami, thought the end of the runway was further away than it was.
