NAS Maintenance & Development Work for FAA

Northrop Grumman has been awarded a contract by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to maintain and enhance the National Airspace System Resource (NASR) and Electronic NASR (eNASR) systems, collectively known as the NASR II system, which provides systems operation, maintenance and system enhancements in support of the FAA's Next Generation Air Transportation System. Under the terms of the contract, Northrop Grumman will provide systems operation, maintenance and enhancement to NASR II. The company will also modify NASR II to adopt the use of the aeronautical information exchange model and support management and technical data portals. Work on the contract will be conducted in various Washington, D.C., FAA facilities over one year with four one-year options.
