Luciad, the software provider for distribution and high performance visualization of situational awareness applications, will be presenting a number of new product capabilities for ATC/ATM and Air Command and Control applications at the Paris Air Show on June 15-21. Visitors will be able to experience live displays of LuciadMap, the company’s flagship software suite which is designed to build efficient aeronautical information systems with class-leading graphical capabilities for improved situational awareness. In its most recent release, LuciadMap provides full support for the new AIXM 5 standard, enabling high responsiveness with complete control over performance parameters, and powerful new capabilities for the handling of large amounts of aeronautical data, without the need for preprocessing. Already used in operational systems, the technology is designed to support the next generation aeronautical information systems worldwide. Luciad’s exhibit will also include 2D and 3D displays of aeronautical information, real-time track data demos and interactive tools such as Electronic Flight Bags featuring temporality, digital NOTAM handling and OGC Web Feature Server integration. LuciadMap-based Air Command and Control Center applications such as real-time visualization of Blue force tracking will be on display.
