Jet Airways Conducts Safety Program
Jet Airways is hosting a safety program April 15-18, 2008 at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai, India in partnership with ISASI the International Society of Air Safety Investigators (ISASI). Captain Hameed Ali, COO, Jet Airways said “This program is one of a series of activities we have embarked upon at Jet Airways to ensure that the highest levels of safety are always maintained in all the airline’s activities. We are constantly on the lookout to enhance Jet Airways’ lead in safety through the utilization of the services of suitably qualified people, the adoption of cutting-edge technology and so on.” The event, is covering the areas of emergency response, safety management systems and crash investigations. Speakers include Shri AK Chopra, Jt. Director-general of DGCA. Jet Airways currently operates a fleet of 81 aircraft and over 380 flights daily.
