Imprudent Cockpit Photos

The Japan Airlines image has been marred by the release of imagery of a 28 year old flight attendant sitting in the Captain's seat and posing with her hands on the controls - according to JAL. The captain has been reprimanded for allowing the impromptu photo session. It took place on JAL Flight 422 whilst the aircraft was on autopilot at cruise altitude between Osaka and London on 23rd December last. The airline was tipped off by another employee and immediately made a clean breast of it all to the Japanese Transport Ministry, expressing its deep regrets. It's not known whether cabin service to the 176 passengers or 14 crewmembers suffered unduly.

The 45 y.o. captain made the offer after the flight attendant entered the cockpit to serve the flight crew drinks.... assume soft and not sake.
