IATA/IAAE Team for Airport Training

The International Association of Airport Executives (IAAE) has joined forces with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to deliver a series of airport training initiatives, including an airport operations employee certification program as well as topic-specific stand-alone courses to airport employees worldwide IATA and IAAE are offering the International Airport Certified Employee (IACE) Operations program, which is an International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Annex 14-based airport operations course, to airport workers worldwide. The IACE program covers four topics: ICAO Aerodrome Design and Operations, Safety Management Systems, Airfield Marking and Lighting and Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting.

IAAE was launched in 1994 to address the challenges of managing airports in a global economy and provide advanced airport management education and professional development around the world. AAAE represents some 850 airports and 3,000 airport executives and is the largest professional association for airport executives in the world.
