Hillsboro Aviation now offers the Max-Viz EVS-1500, a dual field-of-view Enhanced Vision System (EVS) featuring the latest technology in advanced situational awareness and day-like vision in darkness and limited visibility. The EVS-1500 enhances terrain avoidance and aircraft altitude reference while enabling early detection of runway incursions and improved ground and taxi operations. This system also enhances terrain awareness in MVFR by displaying clouds and penetrating light fog. It provides 3-D visualization and validates TAWS.

It weigh under six pounds and is approximately 2.8” in diameter and 6.8” long. STC approved for a variety of helicopters, it offers significant advantages for emergency medical services and aerial firefighting operations because of its ability to penetrate smoke, fog, dust and smog. It allows helicopter operators to respond to emergency situations regardless of the conditions without compromising safety.
