V-22 Falls Short in Desert Testing

The Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey is encountering additional problems including poor aircraft availability and marginal operational availability during test flights last summer. The aircraft that has been the subject of two crashes that killed 23 Marines. The problems related to performance and serviceability in desert conditions, during Air Force CV-22 tests.
