Presented by the Flight Safety Foundation (FSF) and the European Regions Airline Association (ERAA), the 20th annual European Aviation Safety Seminar (EASS), with the theme "A Global Approach to European Safety" takes place March 10-12, 2008 at the JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel, Bucharest, Romania.
Don't miss the opportunity to network and exchange information with industry leaders from regional airlines, corporate flight departments, manufacturers, civil aviation authorities and educational institutions. Last year over three hundred decision-makers from 30 countries attended EASS.
Seminar topic areas include: air traffic control management, safety-enhancing technologies and current safety strategies. The event will include presentation of the FSF-
Airbus Human Factors in Aviation Safety Award and the FSF President’s Citation Award.
The sessions will also cover safety processes, criminalization and safety and operations. One speaker will present a new look for Australia’s approach to aviation safety education. Another will probe aviation safety policy formation. The final day will include discussion on a differential approach to eliminating controlled flight into terrain.
