USAF Helps Air France

U.S. Air Force personnel at Lajes Field provided a helping hand to a disabled Air France 777 that was diverted to the Azores on Jan. 4. Airmen were notified that the jetliner flying over the Atlantic Ocean had lost one of its two engines and needed to land as soon as possible. With about 480 people on board...
