Under the Gimlet Eye

The FAA is undertaking a safety evaluation of the Mitsubishi MU-2 twin-turboprop after a spate of accidents, the most recent being the Aug. 4 crash of an MU-2 in Colorado (see ASW, Aug. 8). An earlier MU-2 crash in Colorado prompted letters from Congress about the plane's safety record (see ASW, Aug. 15)...
